The next deacons meeting is Tuesday, May 7, at 7 pm.
A blood drive is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, from 1:30 pm-7:30 pm. This is open to the public. Donors must be in good health, weigh more than 110 pounds, and must be at least 16 years of age.
Supper will be served Wednesday, May 8, at 6 pm. Mission groups and youth will meet afterwards at 7 pm.
Rise Up - Rejuvenate Christian Conference will be held at Hubb's Farm Sunday, May 19, from 3 pm - 6 pm. Admission is free. Meals and snacks may be purchased from food trucks on site. A limited number of chairs, bleachers and picnic tables will be provided. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Children should be supervised by adults.
You will notice safety cones have been placed at the entrances to the garage by the kitchen door. These are in place for the safety of everyone existing the building through the kitchen. The deacons ask that if you need to move the cones so you can pull under the garage, please put them back in place when you are finished. Thanks in advance!
Thanks to everyone who participated in any way last weekend with the missions fundraiser. With the exception of a few expenses that have not been turned in yet, the BBQ plate sale, RA car wash, yard sale, and volleyball tournament raised around $10,500.
Nothing in this lost world bears the imprint of the Son of God
so surely as forgiveness.
Life asks no questions that faith cannot answer.
Be kind to others. You never know the struggles they are facing.
